Triple Chocolate Cookies

Everyone has a recipe for chocolate chip cookies (or biscuits) and here is mine:

You’ll Need:

  • 300g Plain Flour
  • 1tsp. Baking Soda
  • 130g Crushed Chocolate or Chocolate Chips, Milk, Dark and White
  • Pinch Salt
  • 150g Butter
  • 225g Golden Syrup

To Make:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c or 170c Fan
  2. Melt the butter and syrup over a low heat on the hob and leave to cool slightly
  3. In a large mixing bowl add the dry ingredients, minus the chocolate, and the wet ingredients
  4. Once combined, add the chocolate chips and stir – if the mix is still warm, you’ll get a lovely marbled effect – too hot and they’ll melt straight in
  5. Use an ice-cream scoop or tablespoon and dish out equal size measures onto greased and lined baking sheets
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, they will still be gooey when you take them out, so leave them on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to cooling racks
  7. Enjoy!
